David Beckham To Design And Model Underwear

Soccer stud David Beckham recently sat down with Women’s Wear Daily and told the magazine about his latest off-the-field project, creating his own line of men’s underwear.

David says that the inspiration for his own line came from the work he has previous done with Armani.

“With my team we have spent time working on the fit, the fabric and the style to ensure the product looks and feels the very best and I am hugely proud of the end result,” Beckham said. “I can’t wait to show people the collection — although I’m not sure my mum will be too happy seeing a billboard image of me in underwear again.” We disagree with Mama Beckham and can’t get enough of DB in his undies!

The Los Angeles Galaxy star has quite a bit on his plate, his men’s fragrance, Homme by David Beckham will hit shelves in September.

Unlike some other athletes, David says that he didn’t plan to create such a large brand, “It’s not my natural inclination to see myself as a brand, I’m just a person who has been fortunate to explore other interests and passions outside of the game I love,” he explained. “I will always be associated with my sport but I am now working across other areas that will continue long after my career has finished.”
