Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks brought hockey’s most coveted trophy, the Stanley Cup to the New York side of Niagara Falls.

Patrick has been showing the Cup around his hometown of Buffalo, New York on Friday. The day started with the Stanley Cup making an appearance at his parents home at 7:30am where neighbors gathered to take pictures.

From there the group went to the Cave of Winds at Niagara Falls where Patrick, his family and some childhood friends walked to the hurricane deck with the Cup to brave the heavy winds and water pouring down from what is called the Bridal Veil. A new sign created by two Niagara Parks employees, introduced guests to the “HurriKane Deck.” The handcrafted sign featured a likeness of Patrick on one side and the Blackhawk logo on the other.
