Pete Carroll Preps For Book Tour
July 2nd, 2010 | Posted by Queen of Sports in Books,FootballSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll will be spending the next couple weeks on the road promoting his new book Win Forever.
In the book, Coach Carroll shows readers how to:
- Develop a vision that others can internalize and take a stake in
- Embrace competition, not competitiveness
- Practice so that game day is the easiest day of the week
- Learn to play in the absence of fear
- Make the conflicting pulls of “what you want” and “who you think you are” one and the same
“Winning forever is realizing your potential and making yourself as good as you possibly can be,” said Carroll. “Realizing that is a tremendous accomplishment, whether it’s in football or in life.”
