July 11th, 2011 | Posted by Leah Hollar in Basketball,TV,Uncategorized | 1 CommentTNT has not yet confirmed the hiring, but according to sports business insider Darren Rovell of CNBC, Shaquille O’Neal has agreed to join the cast of “Inside The NBA” on TNT. Currently, the analysts on the show include Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith. O’Neal has been joking since his retirement that he’s “coming for” Johnson’s job.
The addition of O’Neal will be interesting in terms of the chemistry between he and Barkley. Barkley’s loud personality along with O’Neal’s could either work great or be a disaster. Stay tuned.

Another Kardashian Reality Show Hinges On Kris Humphries’ Career
July 8th, 2011 | Posted by Leah Hollar in Basketball,Couples,TV | No CommentsIf “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami,” “Kourtney and Kim Take New York,” and “Khloe and Lamar” were not enough Kardashian for you, another spin-off reportedly in the works will surely satisfy you. HollywoodLife.com is reporting that soon-to-be-married couple Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have been filming various aspects of their lives in anticipation of their own reality show.
A source told Hollywoodlife.com that “their show hinges on Kris’s contract negotiations. Currently he’s a free agent, but it all depends on what teams he ends up with and their rules for their players and outside commitments.” Even if they aren’t able to produce their own show, the footage filmed will go toward “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

BBC Offers Wimbledon Viewers Grunt-Free Options Online
July 1st, 2011 | Posted by Leah Hollar in TV,Tennis | 1 Comment
We told you last week about the Wimbledon executive who expressed his dislike for grunting in tennis. The BBC must have been listening, because they just implemented a noice-reduction tool, called NetMix, that cancels out any grunting noises. The downsides are it only works online, and only with those matches being played on Centre Court.
According to the Daily Mail, the BBC has received a lot of positive feedback in reference to the new tool and the network is considering using it for other sporting events. A vuvuzela-free World Cup, maybe?
Try out a grunt-free tennis viewing experience here.
