Vh1′s Basketball Wives Making A Pitch For Vanessa Bryant
January 25th, 2012 | Posted by Leah Hollar in Basketball,Couples,TV | No CommentsIt seems obvious that Vanessa Bryant would be the basketball wife most sought by Vh1′s “Basketball Wives” producers. So, why is Vh1 reportedly prepared to make a major pitch for Vanessa now?
Well, TMZ is reporting that now that Vanessa has split from Kobe, she may be more receptive to the idea. Plus, the show has a larger budget now that it’s one of the network’s highest rated shows. Vh1 is preparing an “extremely lucrative pitch” for Vanessa to come on the show as a recurring character.
Let’s be honest though, Vanessa won’t exactly be strapped for cash after the divorce and will likely turn down any offers from the network.

Drew and the Elmo teach kids the word “measure” on the episode set to air on PBS Kids on Thursday.

Urijah Faber And Dominick Cruz Announced As New Coaches For TUF Reality Show
December 7th, 2011 | Posted by Leah Hollar in MMA,TV | No CommentsThe latest season of The Ultimate Fighter reality show will be airing on FX in March 2012, with new coaches. Bantamweights Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber will be leading their respective teams, before ending the 15th season of the show with a fight between the two coaches.
Faber has already begun to hype the competition between the two that will ensue on the show, in the house, and in the cage. “Having Dominick coach on the opposite side couldn’t be more perfect. I’m not too thrilled about being in each other’s space for an extended period of time, as I am sure we are going to get on each other’s nerves. But I can’t wait to mentally beat him up as a coach, and then literally beat him up in the cage and swipe that UFC strap,” said Faber on UFC.com.
The fight between the two at the end of the show will be a rubber match. Faber defeated Cruz at their first meeting, and Cruz defeated Faber earlier this year when the two met.
