Olympic Trio on New Wheaties Box

2010 Vancouver Olympians Shaun White, Lindsey Vonn and Seth Wescott will all grace the cover of new Wheaties boxes. Each athlete will have their own orange cereal box. They are each the first athlete in their respective sports to be on the cover.

Speedo Extends Partnership with Olympian Natalie Coughlin

Speedo announced the extension of its long-time partnership with 11-time Olympic medalist Natalie Coughlin through 2013. Coughlin, the most decorated female swimmer in Athens and Beijing, has worn Speedo swimwear her entire career and will continue to represent the brand as she looks ahead to London. After an 18-month break from swimming following the Beijing Games – which included a Hollywood star-making turn on ABC’s hit show “Dancing with the Stars” – Coughlin returns to competition at the Austin Grand Prix, March 4-6.

Nastia Liukin Visits Children’s Hospital in Boston

Olympic gold medalist from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Nastia Liukin visited kids at the Children’s Hospital Boston earlier today. Nastia was there to hang out with the young patients and support the hospital’s annual Boston Mix 104.1 FM Cares for Kids Radiothon.

Ohno on Leno

As the Olympians make their rounds on the talk show circuit, gold medal speed skater Apolo Ohno appeared on the relaunched Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night.

During the interview Apolo Ohno who won Dancing with the Stars in 2007 said he thinks Evan Lysacek will do well on the show, he also pointed out that contestant Pamela Anderson may be “a little top-heavy”. Apolo also discussed his experiences at the Vancouver Olympic and his training “bubble”.

Btw – Apolo has won 8 medals – WOW!

Dancing with the Stars Cast Announced!!!!

Three sports affiliated people are going to be on the new season of Dancing with the Stars – NFL player Chad Ochocinco of the Cincinnatti Bengals, 2010 Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek and ESPN correspondent and peeping Tom victim, Erin Andrews!

They will join Pamela Anderson, soap opera star Aiden Turner, actress Shannen Doherty, reality TV ice queen Kate Gosselin, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, Reno 911! actress Niecy Nash, singer Nicole Scherzinger and the most recent Bachelor Jake Pavelka.
