September 4th, 2010 | Posted by Queen of Sports in Couples,Hockey | No CommentsHilary Duff’s new husband, hockey player Mike Comrie has just signed a one-year contract to play for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
We don’t see Hilary moving to Pittsburgh so it appears that the newlyweds will be spending a lot of time apart during their first year of marriage!
Mike took quite a pay-cut joining the Penguins. He signed a $500,000 contract but made $1.25 with the Edmonton Oilers last season. Mike’s agent said he signed the contract because he felt he could help the Penguins become a better team.
Good luck you two!
