David Beckham Following In Victoria’s Fashion Footsteps?

April 14th, 2011 | Posted by Queen of Sports in Fashion,Music,Soccer | No Comments

Is soccer star David Beckham following in his wife’s footsteps and entering the world of fashion design? According to the UK’s Mirror, the answer is yes!

Apparently the Los Angeles Galaxy star is teaming up with rapper Snoop Dogg (really?!?!) to create a line of children’s clothes.

The 39-year-old rapper said “I’d love to do a Babygro range and baby house shoes with Beckham. It’s going to be fly. It’s great news they are having a baby. He’s having a beautiful girl to play with my daughter Chocolate.” (Does Snoop really have a daughter named Chocolate??? We’re praying it’s a nickname…)

Snoop and David became friends back in 2008 when the soccer stud appeared on his E! reality show, Fatherhood. The guys are so tight that Snoop lets David listen in on his latest albums before they drop. “Whenever I make a record I give him a copy before it’s done. He’s like a brother. I’m gonna show him to rap, for shizzle. He’s my boy. I love soccer just as he loved hip-hop.”

Mets Fans Mock Misfortune With Madoff T-Shirts

February 22nd, 2011 | Posted by Leah Hollar in Baseball,Fashion | No Comments

The New York Mets may not be the most fortunate team in the MLB, but at least their fans have had a good sense of humor about it since the 1960s. The fans who created and are selling these t-shirts are a shining example of the Mets spirit. Written in the Mets cursive font, the t-shirts say ‘Madoff’ and is making fun of the possible ties Bernie Madoff had with Mets owners Fred Wilpon and Saul Katz. Just in time for opening day, the website is selling the shirts for $20. The shirt’s creators are asking to remain anonymous because they don’t want their professional reputations to be comprised and have friends who lost money in Madoff’s Ponzi scheme.
