Other athletes that have endorsement deals with Rolex include golfers Phil Mickelson, Adam Scott and Annika Sorenstam, and tennis players Roger Federer and Justine Henin.

Check out Denver Nuggets player Carmelo Anthony’s wife on the cover of the April issue of Latina Magazine.

In the article the couple address rumors regarding their long engagement and commitment-phobic basketball player lifestyle.

“I wasn’t making her wait,” Denver Nuggets star Anthony told Latina magazine of fiancee La La. “If anything, I was waiting for her to slow down. She was doing her own thing, handling her business and we were happy. When it was time to take it to the next step we did. Period.”

The former MTV VJ says “I don’t think people understand how hard I’ve worked to achieve the things I have.”

Kerry Rhodes Hosting Fundraiser for CancerCare

NY Jets player Kerry Rhodes and Supermodel Hilary Rhoda will be hosting a benefit for CancerCare. The non-profit organization provides free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer. Programs include counseling, education, financial assistance and practical help.

Lamar Odom on Wife Khloe Kardashian

After the Lakers squeaked out a win last night at Staples Center, Lamar Odom husband to reality TV star Khloe Kardashian took time to answer questions about their relationship.

The relationship between the athlete and TV star has been plagued with rumors since they got married one month after having met each other. The tabloids have accused LO of using Khloe to launch his clothing line, Rich Soil and gain publicity through her TV show.

Some highlights from the interview include:

“I’m a good dude. I’ve made a good living playing basketball. I don’t have to date someone or marry someone to make a better living. I do pretty well for myself. It’s too bad that people say stuff like that. I don’t think she’s hurt by it. I still love my wife.”

“When I married her and appeared on the show a whole new demographic of people knew who I was,” Odom said. “People come up to me who don’t even care about basketball and say, ‘Oh, we love your wife, can we take a picture?’ That’s just the way it is. You have to expect that. I just try to be myself.”

“When I married Khloe I turned into a Laker beau, which I’ve never been called before,” Odom said. “Now, I’m a beau. … I didn’t marry her to sell T-shirts but I’d probably marry her to be called a beau. That’s the one thing I do want out of the relationship, to be called a beau.”

Cavs Break Snuggie Record!

The NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers brought the world record Friday night for the “largest gathering of people wearing fleece blankets” during the Cavs Snuggie™ night at Q Arena.

To break the record, over 22,500 fans wore custom-made, limited edition Cleveland Cavaliers Snuggie™ blankets for 5 minutes. A representative from Guinness World Records^® was on hand to present KeyBank, the Cavaliers and Snuggie™ with official certificates for breaking the world record.

All of the Cavaliers players were given their own personalized Snuggie. Shaquille O’Neal’s needed 9 feet of material — 2 to 3 feet more than a typical Snuggie for the 7-foot-1 O’Neal. Rookie Danny Green wore his Snuggie on the court for pregame shootaround.
