A man was apprehended and arrested after being identified as the individual who shot two 49ers fans outside an Applebee’s restaurant in Georgia. The man, a Saints fan, became angry when the two 49ers fans were cheering inside the restaurant after the 49ers victory on Sunday. He attacked them as they left the restaurant, shooting one man in the stomach and injuring the other. One man remains in critical condition while the other suffered a minor wound to the head.

The shooter was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

West is not allowed to visit the President’s home because he is still on probation following weapons charges he pleaded guilty to in 2010. “That’s what happens when you make bad decisions in your life. You can’t go to the White House,” said West.

West, who was born in D.C., wasn’t too upset about being left out of the trip, however. He said, “I’ve been there 100 times in my lifetime. I live right around the corner.”

Neal Auricchio was one of the victims of the beating. The 30-year-old off-duty cop and decorated war vet was hospitalized with a concussion. Auricchio earned a Purple Heart in Iraq before returning for a second tour of duty.

The brawl happened outside a restaurant near Citizens Bank Park. Three men in Flyers jerseys assaulted two men in Rangers jerseys. Philadelphia police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the men responsible for the horrible beating.

Has anyone learned a thing from Bryan Stow? Tom Weir of USA Today makes a good point, “is wearing your team’s jersey to a road game getting to be as dangerous as flaunting gang colors on enemy turf? It’s starting to seem that way, isn’t it?”

The woman’s attorney claims the photo evidence is “disgusting and graphic.” The plaintiff is filing suit this weekend, and a news conference will follow where the photo will be revealed. Ellis was recently named team captain of the Warriors.

Ruettiger and others involved in the fraud showed fake taste tests and sales in order to increase the supposed profits of the company, according to an SEC complaint filed at a U.S. court in Las Vegas.

The scheme was uncovered and the company collapsed in 2008 when the SEC halted trading.

Hurd told the undercover agent he and another individual distributed about four kilograms of cocaine weekly in the Chicago area. He was meeting with the undercover agent because his normal supplier hadn’t been able to meet his needs.

What makes the story all the more interesting is the report from 670 The Score that a number of NFL players received drugs from Hurd.

Hurd’s three-year contract with the Bears had a maximum value of $5.15 million. He received a $1.35 million signing bonus.

Syracuse University head basketball coach Bernie Fine is under investigation by the Onondaga County District Attorney and the Secret Service after allegations he sexually molested at least three boys. Two are former Syracuse ball boys who say they were sexually molested for a decade-long period from the 1970s to the early 1990s. The latest victim to come forward claims he was molested nine years ago.

Perhaps the most shocking piece of evidence in the information given to the public is a recorded conversation between one of the alleged victims and Fines’ wife, Laurie. Laurie says on the tape she knew about everything that went on between the ball boy and her husband. She also said she didn’t think he was the only victim. “Bernie has issues, maybe that he’s not aware of, but he has issues. … And you trusted somebody you shouldn’t have trusted … ” said Mrs. Fine.

Fine was fired by Syracuse this weekend.

Rotterdamn police received a call from a home and arrived to find the 24-year-old Halman bleeding from a stab wound. Paramedics were unable to resuscitate him. Halman’s brother Jason was arrested as a suspect, and is being questioned.

Halman, who was born in Haarlem, Netherlands, made his professional baseball debut at 16 playing for a Dutch major league team. He also played for the Dutch national team, as did Halman’s father and younger brother, Jason. He was drafted to the Mariners in 2004 and played on the club’s rookie-level team before moving up into the minor leagues. He hit his first home run in the big leagues in September of this year after being called up from the Tacoma Rainiers.

Things have gone from bad to worst for Ramirez who was arrested on Monday night at his home in Florida on charges of domestic violence. Ramirez was charged with battery for allegedly hitting his wife in the face during a dispute. He was released from jail after posting $2,500 bail and ordered by a judge not to contact his wife.

Crittenton, who was a first-round pick for the Lakers traded to Memphis in the Pau Gasol deal, is best known for his time spent with the Washington Wizards. Crittenton was involved in the infamous locker-room gun incident involving Gilbert Arenas in 2009. The two drew guns on each other in the locker-room after a dispute about gambling debts.

The FBI released “Wanted” posters Monday for Crittenton, and later his attorney released a statement that his client was innocent but would be heading to Atlanta to “clear his name.” Authorities caught him at the airport in Southern California and apprehended him.

The  23-year-old mother who died in surgery for a gunshot wound to the leg was reportedly going to to be proposed to by her longtime boyfriend on the same night she was shot. Such senseless violence is so disheartening, and we hope whoever is guilty is brought to justice.
