“Beckingham Palace” For Sale

Soccer star David Beckham and his wife Victoria have put their Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire property dubbed “Beckingham Palace” up for sale according to various reports.

The couple bought the mansion in 1999 for £2.5million ($3.5 million) and it is now believed to be worth an estimated £18million ($27 million).

The property boasts an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a petting zoo, recording studio, a snooker room, a gym, and state-of-the-art floodlit tennis courts. The garden has three gazebos, each with a different theme – lakeside, romantic and ornamental. They have also installed a 52ft garden pavilion with a marble floor, which houses a 4ft barbecue.

Rumors have been swirling that the Beckham family are moving closer to making Los Angeles their permanent residence. David still has three years remaining on his Los Angeles Galaxy contract. Sources say the couple plans to purchase a London townhouse for UK visits.

Victoria was spotted having dinner at Maze restaurant on Saturday night with chef and owner Gordon Ramsay and actress friend, Eva Longoria-Parker.

Athlete Sighting: Derek Jeter

New York Yankee star Derek Jeter was spotted taking in some US Open action in Flushing Meadow, New York with his girlfriend, actress Minka Kelly over the weekend. We love these two together, so cute!

Hilary Duff’s Hubby Mike Comrie Moving To Pittsburgh

Hilary Duff’s new husband, hockey player Mike Comrie has  just signed a one-year contract to play for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

We don’t see Hilary moving to Pittsburgh so it appears that the newlyweds will be spending a lot of time apart during their first year of marriage!

Mike took quite a pay-cut joining the Penguins. He signed a $500,000 contract but made $1.25 with the Edmonton Oilers last season. Mike’s agent said he signed the contract because he felt he could help the Penguins become a better team.

Happy 28th Birthday to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett!

Fun Facts About Hank: He was born in Clovis, New Mexico. His father, Henry Jr., worked for the Air Force before becoming director of a social service program, and his mother Judy, works as a financial officer at Cannon Air Force Base.

After dating for six months, Hank proposed to girlfriend, Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson at the top of the Space Needle in Seattle. The pair tied the knot on June 27, 2009 at the Playboy mansion. On December 11, 2009, Kendra gave birth to the couples first child, Hank Baskett IV.

Hank co-stars in a spinoff of The Girls Next Door, titled Kendra, which focuses on his wife’s life after leaving the Playboy Mansion and getting engaged to him. The show premiered on June 7, 2009, and had record breaking numbers for E! with 2.6 million viewers.

Nastia Liukin And Evan Lysacek Skating Together!

This picture was taken earlier in the week of Olympic gold medalists Nastia Liukin (gymnast) and Evan Lysacek (Ice skater) in Dallas, Texas.

They showed up at the ESPYs together a few years back and we think they are such a cute couple. We would love to see the Olympic athlete babies these two would produce!

Happy Birthday Jennie Finch!

USA softball pitching princess Jennie Finch is celebrating her 30th birthday today!

Fun Facts About Jennie: She won an Olympic gold medal in Athens in 2004 and followed up with a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Time Magazine named her the most famous softball player in history.

On July 20, 2010 Finch officially announced her retirement from softball to focus on her family. Jennie married MLB pitcher Casey Daigle on January 15, 2005. Casey proposed to Jennie on the softball field at the University of Arizona, her Alma Mater. In an interview, Jennie said about the proposal, “He blindfolded me and took me to the mound and said, ‘You have been the queen of the diamond for four years. Now I want you to be the queen of my heart.’ ”

Casey and Jennie have a son, named Ace who was born on May 4, 2006.

The McCourts In Court

The Frank and Jamie showdown is well underway! We haven’t decided if we are on Team Frank or Team Jamie yet, I think we agree with this fan, it’s time to let someone else take the reins. But the estranged couple is putting up a fight, battling it out in court. Frank was grilled by Jamie’s lawyers yesterday and this morning and sources inside the court room said he struggled.

Will be interesting to see how Jamie does since she has a law background.

Thinking back it seems that Dodger fans were never enthusiastic about the McCourts as owners, perhaps that’s because Frank is a Boston boy and was turned down when he tried to purchase the Red Sox. Their purchase of the Dodgers seemed like a consolation prize. Or maybe it is because of their plan to reduce player payroll while increasing parking and ticket prices. Their number one goal was about turning a profit, not winning titles.

Bode Miller Makin’ Move On Gossip Girl

Olympic skiing bad-boy Bode Miller was seen chatting up Gossip Girl actress at the US Open in Flushing Meadows on Tuesday night. Sources have said that the gold medal winner “seemed to hit it off with Katie, they were sipping Ty Ku cocktails and talking closely while in a private box.”

Katie was previously linked to LA Kings hockey player Jarret Stoll and Bode was last seen dating model Amanda French.

Romance brewing? We’ll see!

Celebrities At The US Open

Quite a few celebrities are making the trip out to Flushing Meadows to catch some of the action at the US Open.

Those celebs in the stands for the 3rd day of the tournament include Usher (who made a surprise appearance at Justin Bieber’s concert at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night), Andy Roddick’s supermodel wife Brooklyn Decker, singer John Legend and hip hop artist Kanye West who was seen sitting next to Selita Ebanks, rumors are swirling the two are an item.

Rick Fox Partnered With Ochocinco’s Gal Cheryl Burke

Chad Ochocinco was a contestant on last seasons Dancing with the Stars. The Cincinnati Bengals player was paired with dancing queen Cheryl Burke. Chad showered Cheryl with compliments, gifts, and were seen out on the town together even after the show had ended. Rumors swirled that the couple were in fact, a couple.

Chad, who had already committed to doing his VH1 dating reality show had to fulfill his obligations, and that was the last we heard of a potential Chad/Cheryl romance. He has since been linked to Evelyn Lozada. But now former Laker and aspiring actor Rick Fox has been paired with Cheryl. Wonder how his girlfriend Eliza Dushku feels about this? We are thinking Eliza will be in the audience every week keeping an eye on her man!

Cheryl was previously paired with former Dallas Cowboys great Emmitt Smith. They took home the crown for season two.
