The recipes will be judged on two categories: taste (of course!) and football theme. The contest ends on Monday, Sept. 6th at 12pm (PST).

Tony Gonzalez’s 1,000th Catch Twitter Contest

Tony Gonzalez, Atlanta Falcons tight end, announced a contest today sponsored by his sports nutrition company All-Pro Science Inc., based on the achievement of his 1,000th catch. Currently, Tony is one catch short of becoming the seventh NFL player to make 1,000 catches. It is expected he will be making catch #1,000 on September 12th as the Falcons take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Fans can enter the contest on Twitter, by tweeting Tony (@TonyGonzalez88) with a reason why they deserve to win. The hash tag #1000Catch must be included, and fans can only tweet once a day. The contest ends on September 12th after the Steelers game, at which time Tony will randomly draw a winner. The winner and a guest will be flown to Atlanta to meet Tony, stay 2 nights in a hotel, and receive a ticket for the Falcons game against the Cardinals. The winner will also receive autographed gloves from the game.

Snickers To Give Away Trips To Super Bowl XLV

Mars Chocolate North America announced today that Snickers brand is offering 17 exclusive trips to the Super Bowl via the “Go Nuts At The Super Bowl with Snickers Instant Win Game.”  Seventeen Grand Prize-winning NFL fans and their guests will win a trip to Super Bowl XLV in North Texas, while more than 2,200 additional winners will receive other great prizes including flat-screen TVs, gift certificates or Snickers candy bars.
