LeBron James Launches New Website

October 28th, 2010 | Posted by Queen of Sports in Basketball,Technology | 1 Comment

Miami Heat star LeBron James begin the season with a new team and has also launched a brand new website.

The site is fun and offers some great content but athlete websites can be challenging to maintain especially once the season gets underway. So far you can get information on LeBron’s training routine, his diet (presented by his personal chef), insight into his style (via her personal stylist), check out pictures from his recent Nike commercial shoot, and get information on his basketball camps. There are also some interesting videos of LeBron talking about his love for Akron, Ohio.

What do you think of LBJ’s new site?

New York Knicks Poster Targets Brooklyn

October 27th, 2010 | Posted by Leah Hollar in Basketball | No Comments

The New York Knicks placed the above poster on a wall inside the Atlantic Yards, the region in Brooklyn where the New Jersey Nets are proposed to play in 2012 after the building of the new Barclays Center stadium. The poster shows Amare Stoudemire standing in front of the Manhattan (not Brooklyn, ahem) bridge, with the words “Brooklyn Represent: You, Us, We, Now.” The placement of the poster may be a retaliation by Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan, who was angered last July when the Nets papered over the side of a building near the Garden with their “Blueprint for Greatness” poster. For now, the Nets are in Newark.
