Athlete Sighting: Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods was spotted working out with commoners yesterday at a Bally’s gym in Philadelphia. Tiger worked out with caddie Steve Williams and a few other men. One bofyguard accompanied the group.

The 34-year-old golfer is in town competing in the AT&T National Tournament.

Kim Kardashian and Miles Austin’s First Public Appearance Together!

Reality TV star and Reggie Bush’s ex Kim Kardashian was seen out in New York City last night with new beau Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin.

Their first outing as a couple consisted of a dinner with friends at STK restaurant and partying at SL Lounge in celebration of Miles’ 26th birthday! At 2:30am the couple decided to head back to Kim’s hotel! Those Kardashian girls just love athletes!

Wonder if Kim will bring Miles the same good luck she brought Reggie. Anyone picking the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl this year?

How Will Tiger Talk To His Kids About His “Transgressions”?

A reporter for the CBS Philadelphia affiliate asked Tiger Woods how he would handle telling his children about his sex scandal when they get older.

“Stay up front and honest. Simple as that. My dad was the same way. He made mistakes. My mom did as well. We’ve all had troubles and we’ve all had successes, and you can’t go through life with having mistakes.”

Hope Tiger and Elin have already started a therapy fund for their kids, that’s going to be an expensive one!

Jay-Z Meets With LeBron

New Jersey Nets minority owner Jay-Z and Russian millionaire Mikhail Prokhorov have just walked into their meeting with free agent LeBron James.

The meeting is taking place at the IMG offices in Cleveland. The Nets are the first team to meet with the basketball superstar.

The Nets owners will have a lot of convincing to do as their team finished their season with a 12 – 70 record, that earned them a last place finish. LeBron’s team the Cleveland Cavaliers finished with the best record,  61 – 21. Good luck fellas!

Nets Stepping On Knicks Toes

The New Jersey Nets have put up a huge 225-by-99 foot mural at Eighth Avenue and 34th Street in New York City, right above home of the New York Knicks, Madison Square Garden.

The ad features Nets owner, Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov and minority owner, hip hop entrepreneur Jay-Z. The slogan is “The Blueprint For Greatness” borrowed from Jay-Z’s “Blueprint” album series.

Sources say that Knicks owner James Dolan is not pleased about the mural which is visible from the Knicks office. Nets CEO Brett Yormak said the ad is meant to capture the attention of commuters near “key transit hubs.”

The Nets and Knicks will be competing for the attention of several key free agents over the next week.

Athlete Sighting: Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods and Elin were spotted together! The almost divorced couple were seen at Cranium Clubhouse in Florida last Saturday celebrating daughter Sam’s 3rd birthday.

Tiger arrived about an hour after the festivities began and came baring a big, pink present. Tiger and Elin barely interacted.

Sam turned 3 years old on June 18th.

Cristiano Ronaldo Spits At Cameraman!

We were really rooting for Portugal and felt bad that they lost but then we saw this clip of Cristiano Ronaldo spitting at a cameraman after the game. What a sore loser! Not cool Cristiano. He obviously did not like that the cameraman was following him off the field after a disappointing loss.

You have to be smarter than that Cristiano, you have too many dollars wrapped up in endorsement deals to lose your temper!

Cristiano briefly addressed the media once in the locker room where he said “I feel a broken man, completely disconsolate, frustrated and an unimaginable sadness.”

Spain eliminated Portugal with a 1 – 0 win.

Soccer Ball Vending Machine

Check out this vending machine we saw in Cape Town, South Africa. It’s a vending machine for soccer balls! You know people take their soccer seriously if they are selling balls in machines.

That’s so awesome, but we don’t see these popping up in the US anytime soon though.

Athlete Sighting: Tony Parker

San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker and his wife actress Eva Longoria were spotted spending time in romantic Venice, Italy. Lovebirds Tony and Eva took a gondola ride on the Grand Canal.

The pair were recently in Paris to announce a charity event they will host in September. They are such globetrotters! Where will they be spotted next?
