Mark Sanchez Donates to American Cancer Society

Former USC quarterback and current NY Jets player Mark Sanchez has donated an autographed quarterback towel and NY Jets hat to the American Cancer Society. The items will be up for auction on eBay until April 2nd.
All funds raised will support the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives from cancer.

Nivea New Title Sponsor for AVP

The deal includes changing the AVP’s logo from its current yellow to the deep blue color used in packaging by Nivea, which calls itself “the world’s largest skin and beauty care brand.”
“Their vision is to create a sea of blue at our events,” said AVP CEO Jason Hodell. Beiersdorf VP/Marketing Nicolas Maurer called it more of a lifestyle hookup than a sports play
The AVP’s 2010 season begins on April 10th in Fort Lauderdale.
Caron Butler Parodies Old Spice Commercial

This Old Spice commercial was one of the funniest ads I’ve seen in a long time.
Well, Dallas Mavericks player Caron Butler has created a parody for the spot for Mavs Musk. Check out the spot here. Well done.
The Dallas Mavericks currently have the second best record in the Western Conference.
Vail Welcomes Home Lindsey Vonn

The homecoming festivities will kick off at 3:30 p.m. in Vail Square, located in Lionshead. Supporters will be greeted with Lindsey Vonn commemorative pins and memorabilia as well as complimentary cookies, hot cocoa and entertainment including a DJ and jumbo screen videos of Vonn’s racing career highlights to date.
“We could not be more proud to welcome Lindsey home to Vail after a season of unprecedented success on both the World Cup and Olympic stages,” said John Garnsey, co-president of Vail Resorts’ Mountain Division and chief operating officer of Beaver Creek Resort.
Albert Pujols Endorses OhYeah!

Three-time national league MVP Albert Pujols has signed an endorsement deal with nutritional company OhYeah!
The OhYeah! was launched in 2004 and includes nutrition bars and ready to drink nutritional shakes. OhYeah! products are available at GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, fitness and health food locations, and convenience stores.

Members of the Golden State Warriors, Reggie Williams, Stephen Curry, Anthony Tolliver and Chris Hunter were spotted having dinner at California Pizza Kitchen in Utah on Tuesday night.
The Golden State Warriors will take on the Utah Jazz tomorrow night at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City.
Drew Brees Tapped to be National Spokesperson for AdvoCare

Toronto Raptors players DeMar DeRozan and Jarrett Jack were spotted supporting another Toronto team, the NHL’s Maple Leafs on Tuesday night at the Air Canada Centre.
The Maple Leafs lost to the Atlanta Thrashers, 2 – 3.
